About us

We’re a family-run, cozy blog based out of the beautiful Pacific Northwest! We post about great ways to relax through your hobbies, such as crafting, sewing, or baking, as well as some calming recipes or cool places to visit out here in Washington!

We also run two small businesses out of Shelton, WA! One, Annie’s Quilt Shoppe, is a fabric store and sewing machine dealer renowned for their 7,000+ square footage of quilting & sewing goodness!

The other, The Riptide Retreat, is a waterfront crafting, quilting, and hobbyist retreat home just 20 minutes from Annie’s! The Riptide was carefully designed with hobbyists in mind, from its many in-floor outlets for your sewing machines or glue guns, to the custom built cutting tables built into the walls!

We decided to create the Cozy Coastal Crafter to help educate and inspire both experienced and prospective hobbyists, crafters, and quilters, as well as showcasing our favorite things to do out here in the Pacific Northwest!
